The project was aimed at strengthening Pasha Bank sales and customer service skills through delivering training to all staff engaged in customer service provision. We delivered two day comprehensive, interactive  training in Customer Service and Sales to more than 30 employees of the bank.

The goal of the project was to support micro finance institution Credo transformation into banking institution. PMO delivered comprehensive training on banking products and services, as well as financial management. Training was delivered to to all representatives of middle management – from network, as well as head office.

The aim of this project was to provide coaching services and execute action plans linked to the company’s strategy. Under its Project Management component PMO developed strategy execution action plans in cooperation with the senior and middle managers of the company, introduced a project management methodology and conducted overall management and supervision of the project. Within its Coaching component, PMO delivered individual coaching to managers engaged in action plan execution.

 

Promotion of Biomass Production and Utilization in Georgia

UNDP, in cooperation with the Georgian Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection and the Global Environment Facility, initiated a project – “Biomass Production and Utilization in Georgia”. The overall objective of the project was to promote sustainable production and utilization of upgraded biomass fuels in Georgia, encouraging the stakeholders to establish the pilot production projects through the grant investments; start and develop biomass fuel utilization in municipalities.

PMO Business Consulting worked on the planning and administering national-wide business plan competition, which comprised development of detailed work plan and schedule, defining and implementing the project’s communication strategy, conducting meetings with various potential grant applicants and stakeholders, supporting project grant seekers in business plan preparation and organizing two level competition panels.

Organizational Structure Development

The aim of this project was to develop a company structure aligned to the company’s corporate strategy. Based on organizational diagnostics and the organizational strategy of Socar Energy Georgia and its subsidiary Socar Georgia Petroleum. PMO Business Consulting redesigned the structure of the two companies in a way which enabled them to efficiently implement the company’s strategy.

Organizational Strategy Development

The objective of this project was to develop an organizational strategy for the company and its subsidiary Socar Georgia Petroleum. Based on organizational diagnostics PMO identified the main challenges the company was facing at an organizational level, defined the strategy of the organization for 3-5 years and identified and elaborated key organizational systems and mechanisms which would support the efficient implementation of the strategy.

PMO Team has a significant experience in conducting the projects in different industries and providing multiple services. Organizational Diagnostics

Socar is the largest importer of oil and gas products in Georgia, and one of the leading retailers in this market. The aim of this project was to identify the key challenges the organization faced and make recommendations for further organizational development based on these.

PMO Business Consulting performed Organizational Diagnostics of Socar Energy Georgia, and its subsidiary Socar Georgia Petroleum, at management, process and job levels. This encompassed diagnostics of the following elements: Organization and Structure, Corporate Culture, Human Resources Skills and Abilities, Corporate Governance, Procedures and Policies, Measurement and Motivation Systems and other HR systems. We identified the key areas for improvement and suggested ways of achieving these improvements.

Training in Basel II Risk Management Standard

According to the requirements of the National Bank of Georgia, Georgian commercial banks are obliged to transform their risk management standards according to Basel II Risk Management requirements till the end of 2014. After interviews with a majority of Georgian commercial banks, we identified a significant deficiency in risk management skills and the capacity of banks to do this on their own. As a result, we partnered with the Institute for Training and Consulting in Banking (ITCB), a leading Hungarian banking training and consulting center, jointly developed a training curriculum taking into account Georgian legislation and delivered a three day practical training session, which was attended by most of the Georgian commercial banks.

Waste Management Technologies in the Regions

Waste Management Technologies in Regions (WMTR) is a USAID funded project designed to support competent central and local government authorities, local businesses and communities and municipalities to design an integrated waste management system for the Kakheti and Adjara regions. The aim of this project was to raise public awareness.

PMO Business Consulting developed relevant materials and facilitated public discussions about Waste Management Strategy and Tariff Policy in Batumi and Telavi.
